Jon Dejgaard who has been at NTEX for 4 years got his diploma for "Dry cargo chartering" certified by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) in London. When customers need to transport dry bulk cargo/dry bulk cargo by sea, Jon makes sure to match the goods with the right ships and ports, according to the goods' specifications.

–We are the broker who puts together the right Charterer with the right Vessel owner, in order to achieve the best transportsolution. It can e.g. whether giant wooden beams and tree products, grain, iron ore, coal, chemicals or other type of dry cargo. We ensure that our customers get simple, efficient and safe conditions for their transport – all over the world, says Jon.

As a licensed ship broker within the dry cargo chartering segment, Jon’s tasks include guidance in regards to documentation, finding the right ships, ensuring the best rate for our customers as well as anticipating and responding to fluctuations in the market, and to connect charterer and vessel owner.

–This will help NTEX anticipate customer demand and identify potential opportunities. Additionally, staying up-to-date with the latest market trends and developments will help us gain valuable insights and guidance to our customers, says Jon.
