NTEX becomes a social sustainability partner for the world’s largest handball club

NTEX is expanding its sponsorship of the handball club IK Sävehof. The collaboration focuses on supporting and contributing to IK Sävehof's social sustainability efforts, including their involvement in parahandball, the world's largest handball tournament, and elite development.
Expanded sponsorship
Sävehof is the world’s largest handball club, with 1,500 children and youth and 260 coaches. The partnership between NTEX and Sävehof started a year and a half ago when NTEX became a sponsor for Sävehof’s parahandball team. Through this support, the club was able to build a storage facility for wheelchairs under the stands and acquire additional wheelchairs.
“Sävehof works within three main areas of CSR: health/movement and education, inclusion, and integration. NTEX’s support means a lot, and it also inspires other companies to support our social sustainability projects,” says Anette Tingets, CSR Manager at IK Sävehof.
This year, NTEX has become an even greater partner for Sävehof as a social sustainability partner. The sponsorship includes NTEX providing resources for travel and tournaments, primarily for parahandball. The expanded sponsorship also supports the club’s elite development and their own youth academy.
“NTEX contributes to the inclusion, integration, and inspiration of children and youth to follow in the footsteps of their role models in the elite level,” concludes Anette.
