Important Information Regarding Digitoll – New Requirements in Norway Effective 15 September 2026

As of 15 September 2026, the Norwegian Customs Authority will introduce mandatory digital reporting of goods and transport movements crossing the Norwegian border through Digitoll. This means that transport and cargo information must be submitted electronically prior to the border crossing.
The new requirements entail changes to working procedures and increased demands for accurate and complete information submitted within the required timeframes. To comply with the authorities’ requirements, we have adapted our systems and implemented new administrative and operational processes.
Therefore, effective 15 September 2026, a Digitoll/MO fee of SEK/NOK 185 per shipment will be introduced.
The fee covers costs related to the handling, verification, reporting, and follow-up required under the new regulations. The fee is linked to the Norwegian “Melde- og opplysningsplikten” and applies regardless of whether customs clearance is performed by NTEX or by an external customs broker.
In cases where manual handling is required due to late submission of information or incomplete documentation, an additional fee of SEK/NOK 250 per shipment will apply.
