At the beginning of this month, NTEX Norway moved into its new premises in Vestby, near Oslo in Norway. The new 28,500 sqm building was built by the logistics property company Logicenters.
NTEX will take on 22,000 sqm, which includes cross-docking terminal, warehouse and an office.Having completed the first phase of the move, NTEX has now been given access to the new office and terminals. The second phase will take place in May 2022.
“We are very happy to have moved here. Here, we will have the opportunity to serve existing customers while growing,” says Andreas Nikolic, Managing Director, Norway.
The building is certified Very Good according to the BREEAM environmental certification. There will be solar panels on the roof that will provide energy for parts of the business. Other aspects that have contributed to the environmental certification are the choice of sustainable materials. The logistics centre will have 31,000 pallet spaces and a brand-new cross-docking terminal.
“Once the second phase of the move is complete, we will have all our operations under one roof. This will enable us to work more efficiently and provide a complete offering to our customers,” concludes Andreas Nikolic.
