How it all began

NTEX was founded in 2003 in Gothenburg by 10 industry enthusiasts, all sharing a common vision: "To be a distinct Nordic transport alternative through high service levels and to be the customer's first choice by offering competitive, flexible and customized transport- and logistics solutions for land, sea and air"

Rapid growth

With an average annual growth rate of 20% and maintained profitability, our current sales amount to almost SEK 1 billion and we have offices in a multitude of locations. While we are very proud of the level of success we have had, we know that we have not reached this far by coincidence. We have worked hard to achieve our vision while still being able to have fun together with our customers along the way.

Our work is paying off

By proactively providing our customers with the solutions they need, we have challenged the industry and kept our existing customer base while continuously expanding it. Throughout our history, prospective clients have often approached us after experiencing a sense of anonymity in the relation with our competitors. As a result, we have attracted a diverse customer base of companies in various sizes, representing industries such as energy, furniture, automotive and engineering.

Facing an exciting future, we will tirelessly continue our successful concept of challenging industry conventions together with our customers.

Selected key events

Below are some especially memorable excerpts from our eventful past:

2003 - the beginning

We kick off operations with offices in Sweden and Germany, and a modest 10 employees.

2004 - sales growth

In only one year since founding the company, our revenues amount to SEK 130 million.

2005 - ACQUISITION

We acquire Ecotrans AB, turnover increases to SEK 196 million.

2006 - Air and sea freight

We begin to provide sea and air freight. Number of employees has now increased to 34.

2007 - another acquisition

Ecotrans LTD is acquired and we have more than doubled our sales between 2005 (SEK 196 million) and 2007 (SEK 473 million).

2008 - further sales growth

We continue our rapid growth, turnover has reached SEK 550 million and we are 126 employees.

2009 - another acquisition

VTS AB and Davis Freight Ltd are aquired.

2010 - more offices

By 2010, we have offices established in Sweden, Germany, England, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

2011 - and Yet another acquisition

The company further increases its capacity through the newly acquired Gothic AB. We are now 150 employees.

2012 - SALES 800 MSEK

Our presence is further expanded through opening of office in Vinterbro, Norway. Sales reach SEK 800 million while the number of employees is 165.

2013 - iata

We obtain IATA certification and open offices in Västerås, Sweden and Gdynia, Poland.

2014

New agency network within Europe is established. We are now AEO certified and security approved freight agent for aviation.

2015

We expect to reach 250 employees and revenues of SEK 1,1 billion.
